OEM/ODM Project Manager

Summary

The OEM/ODM Project Manager is responsible for supporting sales to bring OEM/ODM business solution into mass production in network security market. In addition to serving as the main point of contact for all technical aspects of during the development of ODM/OEM solution, this position will be required to work across internal departments in supporting the customers.

Responsibilities

·     Manages the transition of new products from pilot production to volume production

·     Timely provide project status update and escalate in urgency

·     Review, compose and respond the proposal for RFQ/RFP/RFI

·     Provide technical presentation to customers

·     Develops and maintains positive relationships across internal teams not limited to Sales,

      Purchasing, Marketing, Production, Quality and Engineer

Requirements

·     Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·     Solid knowledge of computer products and design/NPI (New Product Introduction)

      verification and validation processes

·     Strong knowledge with computer hardware, firmware and operating systems

·     Strong leadership with business savvy

·     Knowledge with LINUX of kernel, driver and script

·     A minimum of 3~5 years of experience in industrial/embedded PC or network security

      appliance industry

·     Disciplined, self-motivated, initiative and creative 

·     Ability to identify the priorities under pressure

·     A positive presentation and a can-do attitude

·     BS/MS degree in engineering major

Responsibilities

·     Provide technical expertise and program management support for new industrial PC products and services, including driving implementation of support programs that will aid in problem diagnosis and support responsiveness

·     Provide engineering solutions for any improper functioning of the developed products

·     Define new products to expand company’s market share in current and emerging markets that include developing product road map for specific areas of application and creating detailed functional and performance specifications

FAE in Los Angeles/Boston/Chicago

Summary

The FAE is responsible for providing on-site engineering service in the coverage areas.

Responsibilities

·     Provide on-site engineering service to ensure sample passing qualification tests at

      customer site

·     To be at customer site and ensure alpha/beta sample to pass qualification tests

·     To ensure all technical related questions are answered during alpha and beta sample phases

·     To timely identify issues and report and communicate to the US headquarters office if

      sample couldn’t boot up or pass the tests

·     Be the primary contact for technical support for existing customers in the covered area

·     Effectively communicate with customers and the US headquarters to solve technical issues

      during design phase

Requirements

·     BS degree in electrical or computer engineering

·     3 years of experience in engineering related field

·     Intel architecture PC hardware trouble shooting experience

·     Familiar with multiple operating systems – Windows, Linux and Android

·     Ability to read and understand schematics and product technical documents

·     Familiar with computer testing tools

·     Good communication skills
