The Internet of Things (IoT)/Internet of Everything (IoE) is changing everything every day, and has expanded IT networks from indoor to outdoor environments. Our client, a major player offering IoT/IoE networking solutions, decided to design an outdoor gateway to complete their offering of a seamless solution for wireless sensor networks. Their requirements for the outdoor gateway included wide-temperature support, ruggedness, high reliability and compact design.
