(http://www.portwell.com), announces CAF-2000 fanless desktop appliance that advantages Intel^® ULT Core™ and Intel^® Celeron^® processors for low noise, long MTBF and lower power consumption. The CAF-2000 supports the 4th generation Intel Core i7/i5/i3 ULT SoC processor and Intel Celeron processor 2980U in a fanless design that delivers redundant network connectivity of up to 6 ports; 1.35V DDR3L SODIMM up to 8GB; support for 2.5˝ swappable SATA HDD or SSD and one CFEX card; supports one mini-PCIe for Wi-Fi or 3G options; and features a small 16x2 LCD module with 4 control buttons. The CAF-2000 provides high-end media and 3D graphics capabilities and is designed with intelligent power management via Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 (select processor SKUs) that dynamically controls performance and power for both processor cores and graphics to boost performance effectively with energy efficiency.
