American Portwell Technology is closely monitoring the developments and concerns regarding the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Because of the serious nature of this virus, the National Assembly of the PRC has officially extended the Lunar New Year from January 30th until February 3rd and possibly even further to safeguard public health. Some local governments have announced their intention to further extend the Lunar New Year until February 9, such as: Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu province. (https://www.china-briefing.com/news/china-extends-lunar-new-year-holiday-february-2-shanghai-february-9-contain-coronavirus-outbreak/) Regrettably, this means that components and material supply will be impacted, with longer lead-time as workers delay their return to work. Shortages could occur if conditions worsen, such as further extension of the recess. Factory inventory could be depleted. We want to deliver your orders on time, however, in order to do so, we need your cooperation to help us plan ahead. So, please, if you foresee future orders, when you place your order, we encourage you to factor in the additional lead-time and place the order ahead of time in order that we can deliver it to you on time. We thank you for your understanding and support and apologize for any inconvenience in advance.
