For outdoor environments like wayside locations, our products support a wide temperature range and meet high-humidity requirements to operate reliably under extreme weather conditions/changes, and these products also provide multiple wireless communication interfaces to ensure continuous connection and communication; for on-board solutions, the locomotive power regulation is uniquely different from that for other applications, and our embedded computing systems are designed with anti-shock and anti-vibration protection. The EN 50155 compliance covers electronic equipment used on rolling stock for railway applications, and the EN 50121 compliance covers electromagnetic compatibility. We also follow the JIS E 5006 standard of Japan, and the ARIMA Section11 of the United States according to customers’ requests.

The locomotive systems inevitably vibrate during operation. To minimize the impact, anti-shock and anti-vibration designs come as standard among the Portwell railway solutions. We design in the anti-shock and anti-vibration features with carefully selected and implemented connectors, cabling, memory and storage devices, from the component level all the way to the system level.
