APTNS-33163

The APTNS-33163 is a 1U rack-mount high-performance networking system, supporting the 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processor series (formerly Raptor Lake-S) with enhanced computing capability of up to 24 cores and 32 threads delivering outstanding performance. Moreover, the processor platform supports greater L2 and L3 cache, enabling an expansion in L3 Intel® Smart Cache up to 36MB, which is a 20% increase compared to its predecessor, the 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors (codenamed Alder Lake-S).

The APTNS-33163 networking system supports four DDR5 DIMMs (two channels with two DIMMs per channel) up to 4800MHz and 128GB to facilitate faster and more efficient computing performance. It is also designed with expansion slots supporting the latest PCIe Gen 5 interface enabling next-gen performance to an even higher level. More specifically, with a total of four expansion slots (2x PCIe Gen 5 and 2x PCIe Gen 4), and support for Portwell’s various NICs of 1/10/25/40/100 Gigabit fiber or copper ethernet with optional Bypass function, APTNS-33163 system enables optimized configurations required by each application-specific networking deployment.

In addition to the many superior computing capabilities and features, APTNS-33163 supports DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit) that greatly boosts packet processing on multi-core processors to enable more efficient data plane applications. It also features additional options - IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) and TPM (Trusted Platform Module). IPMI assists in hardware monitoring to make it more effectively possible to control and monitor network devices centrally. To further ensure networking security, APTNS-33163 built with TPM is to protect the system during the boot process.
