Portwell's PNSR-5000 is a 1U Rackmount network appliance powered by the Intel® Xeon® D-1800 and D-1700 processors (codenamed Ice Lake-D LCC), featuring up to 10 cores, PCIe Gen 4 and more high speed I/Os.

The PNSR-5000 supports two channels DDR4 RDIMM/UDIMM (up to 2933MHz) and maximum memory capacity up to 256GB. With 16 PCI Express Gen 4 lanes, the PNSR-5000 can support 2 NIC modules, support multiple Ethernet module bays for flexible port configuration; such as 1/10/25/40 Gigabit fiber, Gigabit copper with BYPASS function or not. The OCP 3.0 and standard PCIe convertible slot design makes expansions more flexible and easier. PNSR-5000 also natively supports two 10/25GbE SFP+/SFP28 with up to 50 Gigabit throughput and six 2.5GbE copper on-board with BYPASS function.

The strong I/O elements of PNSR-5000 include a console port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a Graphic LCD module with keypad (4 keys), LEDs for power/ HDD/ Bypass/ SFP28 ports. In addition, the PNSR-5000 also supports two 2.5” SATA HDDs/SSDs, on-board one M.2 Key M 2280 for network storage application, one M.2 Key B 3052 for 4G/5G/LTE module, and one M.2 Key E 2230 for Wi-Fi module.
